Advice needed on Mit Lancer offer

Hi all

Need some valuable feedback, becos greenhorn and first time buying car...

I am eyeing the basic mitsubishi lancer, and the SE is offering me leather seats,keyless alarm,revesor sensor and sports rim, at extra $300, as all this is included in the excutive package priced $1300 more than the basic one

Is this ok?Is there anything more I can ask for?Or is there anything above that I should exchange for something else?

hi...I had just get my lancer last week....The $300 package i think is standard...me also pay $300 for the package...But as long as you have don't sign anything yet...bargin for more things...They can give one lor....they will tell you things like car price already very low lah...never earn much...but just ask lor...things like visor etc....:) sure can get 1 or 2 things one...

When did u book ur lancer? And you have got ur COE already?

not sure if you have already sign up for the package but looking at your tread since early March, the COE has increased by quite a bit. S$300 is standard and if you hold on a little longer, it is not worth to bargain for any freebies.

You may wan to squeeze you SE for Cashcard cover, 3M Mat, Short Antenna, Windows Visor and Chrome Exhaust Pipe Cover. :icon59:

Either u top-up $300 for those things OR u get $1000 cash rebate if u take up their in-house financial loan and insurance premium.

In another words, topping-up $300 to get those things, u won't get $1000 cash rebate. So is LPPL. :icon30:

If you really wan those thing so much, go for sport (like me) but insurance premium is slightly higher, abt $90+ more.

Hope is not too late to give my opinion.

hi my dear friend,always feel great to know one getting a new ride,as wat u've mention nowadays new car with leather seats,keyless alarm,reverse sensor,sports rim and even tinted film comes standard with e car,even though not all above mention are standard but i believe if they really wanted to close deal with u they will definitely throw in some of e above mentioned if not all of couse.as wat i know sports rim,leather seats,car alarm and reverse sensor are standard issue....correct me if someone out there think tat i m wrong abt tat.....:) but one item's very important to have is solar tinted film,fight for tat at least.....hope i do help you one way or e other..happy shopping
