Here's how it work...

Basically its an add on a device that control the airntake to the engine, i mean directly to the engine.

In most normal car config air is suck in and go through your air filter (open pod, drop in or whatever) the air that went through the filter channel to 2 path one is to your engine another to your combustion of your petrol. The air that is channel to your engine is continously going through even when you just start your engine and it's idling.

Question: if you have a air charger or whatever that says improve your HP etc or don't have... Do you need that much of air when you are driving at cruising speed or in your comfort drive.

And how much HP you see & feel in difference...
Answer is NO.

You CONTROL the amt of air channelinto your Engine DIRECTLY.
But this also means that you will not see the difference if you are comfort driver slowly accelerate kind...

Like i've say earlier on this device is to suck in air from your air filter directly to your engine.

In auto car your gear changing is basically detect on your Temp & RPM respond. when you drive to a certain RPM & temp it will shift to the next gear. But with this device the temp is lower thusu your electrical device in your do not change gear as early as it desire. With that you experince higher rpm with the lowest gear engaged but it will shift to the next gear once it hit the "RED" line of your RPM not matter what (due to the Device that is original plant in your car and that is what stopping your car to have more power, Singapore rules you know) but in fact it can go higher. With higher RPM when u drag, means more power you can have in each gear.

Manual Car is even more significant as you also control the next gear you want to shift to and maintain the power longer than what you used to...

The voltage to activate it is less than 5V.
It does not violate LTA rules & regulation as well.
It does not affect your fuel consumption.
No service maintance at all.
Cost is $280 to $300 Plus depending on Car model. Difference model the piping tp channel the air to the engine can be complicated.

Pictures will be up soon... Trying to take mine & friend who have tried is and prove of it.

Am I the only one who thinks this guy is talking absolute rubbish??? Some air goes to the engine, some goes to the combustion of fuel, how does that make any sense? Where does he think the fuel is combusted if not in the engine?

The air flow into the engine (which is your combustion chamber) is controlled usually by the throttle butterflies. More air going into the engine means you can burn more fuel and produce more power. However, if you put more air into the engine without extra fuel you will produce more power in the short term but ultimately destroy the engine as it will get too hot.

I've seen a lot of gimmicks over the years for adding more power to a car by adding a gadget here there and everywhere and basically none of them work. Think about it, if it was really that easy to add power with no drawbakcs, the original manufacturer would be doing it. Come on guys, there's no such thing as a free lunch, especially when it comes to increasing the power output of a car!

HI bro i m driving subaru impreza 1.6i, can anyone out there help me with this.
I still don't know which air filter to change, can advice me wether HKS open pot or Cool intake series open pot ths bro.

open pod setup, doesn't really matter which filter u use. brand is just brand, all about the same. save the $$, move on and do your exhaust.
