Harlow!

Out of curiosity, does anyone have figures on the fuel consumption of the various Civic variants?

My week-old civic does 12.9km/L(predominantly city driving), and 15.99km/L (predominantly highway).

Cheers,
Alvin

Hi Bro NGeowster,

I am thinking of the Civic 1.8 for my next car
I am currently driving a Proton Gen-2 1.6 Auto
The fuel consumption you stated are consistent with my car's current performance
If you are driving the 1.8 or 2.0 variant, I would say that's pretty dam good fuel consumption coming from a bigger cc car

That is why Honda is higher price. No lost in performance with lesser fuel. That mean more effieciency and which give Honda the known of good engines.

To me that performance.

On the reverse, If you use the same amt of fuel to drive 2 machines of the same output (performing) car. Honda keeps it running much longer!
