Hi.... my name is Alan. I am very much new in here. i would like to find out a bit more on colt plus turbo from any one who's driving it. How is the engine performance? Roughly how much fuel consumption per litre? What is the difference between colt plus turbo and version R? i have asked the above questions because i am interested in getting Version R but its auto transmission. Hope some of you can share your experiences with me. Thank you.:)

Hi Alan,
I've just went to C&C to test drive the Version R and I'm totally impressed. The power output from a 1.5L car is amazing!! More then I expect i would say. As for the engine, colt plus & Version R are the same. According to the SE, there's no prob so far for the colt plus. Which I might be expecting her to say that since she wanna sell the car. But then again, there's frequent complains for cars like airtrek and evo that the radiator always fail on em. So really need to know bout this. Bout the FC, told by SE is bout 11-12km/1L (that depends on ur foot actually, heavy footer will not clock this kinda mileage).. which is pretty ok for a TC car. As for the auto transmission, I'm glad to say I'm pretty happy with the triptronic. (but dun play play with the gears too much uh)

Hi Alan
The new colt plus version-R look alot like the colt version-R without the boot space. I also understand it has more horsepower than the ralliart turbo version. If u interested to know more, pls feel free to call me @ 97420817 cos i wld be it soon. Cheers

Fusion13,
I got my Colt Plus Ralliart (Turbo) on Jan 13th 07.
Although its a CVT, it has a lot of vroom for a 1.5...its a pocket rocket!
Playing with the "Tiptronic" puts so mucj more fun into the drive. Just did my 1st 1000KM servicing and I also take down notes on the consumption. For a turbo charged car...its not bad...currently 11.20KM/L. Not much hard driving yet, but the occasional pedal to metal so its not that bad for the above fuel consumption figure.
If you're still considering...well this is one car that will keep you grinning whenever you are on the road.

Hi Layangman/guys,
I'm Muzamir from KL and i got my Colt Plus Turbo on 30/3/07. So far, I've clocked more than 4K km.
It's simply amazing, pace plus space. I even reached the top speed of 180 km a few times pacing my car against the like of A6, 325i and Civic 2.0L VTEC.
The acceleration is simply superb.
However, I have not seen anyone in KL driving one but I've seen one colt turbo and a few colts. So, it's not really popular in M'sia.
Anyway, it's good to know that there's a forum for colt plus turbo and at least we all can share our experience with each other.
Taking about sharing, i wonder if anybody can help me as my car manual is in japanese as the car is not sold by Mitsubishi malaysia but instead by an approved importer.
I've been asking around in KL for the last one month but couldn't find another owner who can actually help me.
So, is it possible for anybody to assit me on this?
Anyway, i plan to go to S'pore this weekend to shop around at your ralliart stores.
i can be reached at mohd.muzamir@eonbank.com.my
Thanks guys.

Hi Manoq,
Glad you're driving the CPT. It may not be possibleto get a copy, after all only one is issued per car.
Perhaps you may wish to surf the internet to look for tech manual online?
Cheers.

Thanks Layangman,
I tried but couldn't find any. However, i went to ralliart singapore at Alexander Rd and bought some accessories for my colt plus turbo. Nice ...!
I even ask the mitsubishi guys there and they couldn't help me, unless the owner themselves is willing to make a copy of the manual itself and give it to me.
By the way, I'm due for 5K km service this weekend, I need some help and my questions are as follows (since my manual is in japanese and i've not seen even another colt plus turbo here yet):
1) what is the recomended service interval - is it 5K km or 10K km,
2) what is the recommended engine oil - mineral oil, semi synthetic or fully synthetic for colt plus turbo,
3) what is the recommended viscosity / thickness or whatever it is of the engine oil in the manual.
Thank you very much.

Hi All,
I just got my CPT as a 2nd hand ride, the previous owner has spent $900 modified the exhaust to gain more power & racing sound.
I don't mind to exchange back to the original exhaust if someone willing to pay me some $ for the exchange. :icon7:
Anyone interested please call me at 97337378.
Best Regards,
Wong
