Upsizing rims in a Suzuki Swift?

Hi! im an owner of a new suzuki swift and i was wondering if for this model it would be advisable to increase the size of the rims from 15" to 16"?

also since my current rims have only 4 bolts could it accomodate a 5 bolt rim?


Can anyone help me with any of my queries?

I have also just join this site, your post have been up for 11 days now and yet, no one have given you a advice on your problem. Either this tread topic is dead or forumers here are reluctant to help or they find your question stupid. Sorry so saying that, seriously i laugh after reading your post, never the lease, i will still help you with your Question, as this is why you join this site for right, to find a answer for your problem just like me hoping that forumers will give you a tip or...................?????????????

1) Can a 4 bolts accomodate to 5 bolts rim? Answer is NO.

2) Change from 15" to 16" rims? Answer is Yes, you can even up to 17" but is it advisable, the best person to tell you is the person running the shop that sells you the rims and tyres. My own knowleadge is the bigger the rims and tyres will result in a drag in your speed and your pickup speed will slow also and lastly fuel consumtion will be high due to bigger rims.

erm. u can't fit a 5bolt rim on ur ride. i have a swift too but i'm running on 18" rims.. i know it sounds a bit crazy. haha. but is ur business purpose. however i don see any problem running on 18" wheel. i did run one stock wheels for a while den i change to 18". in my opinion seriously. is alrite. but i wun denied that i pick up is a little slow. for my advise i wun recommend u 16" wheels. i have a garage at simpang bedok. maybe u can come down and take a look. can can give my a call upon coming down.81836857. hope to see u dude
