Got my 2.0 EX GT 6 wks ago , after run in period drove at 140 km/h at TPE cos quite late liow and found that the stability and control of the steering at that speed is very light and can feel that it is not as stable compare to my previous ride Mazda3 . Can any bro out there comment ? Lowering of spring will help or not ?

Thanks

You can try installing the Ultra Racing Strut Bar to improve the car handling as the the lowering of spring will cause your ride to be more uncomfort. My friend had installed and give me good feedback. You can view the strut bar at:

I have some comment to this car also.
i have same feeling when i speed around 120 km/h on tebrau highway jb, very instability and insecure sitting inside.
i did install front/rear strutbar seem have little improvement, however feeling of instability still there, what can we do is lower the car. best in put in hi/lo adjt.
anyway, my comment to my new ex2.0, this car really disappointed.
when rain drop, car top like 'we holding a piece of metal' damn noisy. i m gonna to do soundproof to filter the noise.

overall for this car, performance out of expectation, noise from ori exchaust also suck when u cruise, anyway i have change it to better 'sound' gti exchaust, better still.
have to mod abit to make car better handling, or speeding.
FC wise also not that good.. usual city+highway about 9km p/litre. on highway acce around 110-120km/h clock at around 11km p/litre. anyway my car still runnin, wait to see later whether got improvement.

Hi bro , i know of a tyre shop that has the original 18" rim with tyre for the GT and they are selling at $800 , i think its worth it cos the the tyre itself cost more than 1k but dun know if they sell it or not .
