Hi, everyone out there,
i currently just brought a lancer, new 06 lancer.
can anyone tell me the why there is a need and what is the consequence of violeting of the 1st 1000km run in.

what will happen if i hard run in for the 1st 1000km?

bro, does not matter whether hard run or normal run in. The 1k lubricant is very thin, not advisable to hard run in.

Really want to run, wait after you put in the synthetic lube. Best of all, mod it.

That are necessary for all new cars to have a run-in period, since the moving parts are new and the contact tolerance are very fine that need `thin`lubricating motor oil to be penetrating the moving parts;if u allow the engine revolution turn at too high a speed , u will create a rubbing effect between the moving parts tthat will cause the engineer wore off at very `young `stage.
