Men are worse drivers than women. Why?

Because of the accidents are by men.

1 simple reason is they always look at girls when driving and then BANG ! :p

Never understand why men cannot keep their eyes on the road.

The worse type of men drivers are those with girlfriends or wife by their side and they still stare at women drivers as if they cannot be bothered with their women by their side. Why chase them in the first place?:confused: :confused:

I disagree with you, Christine.

In general, I would say that most male drivers are slightly arrogant and less considerate whilst the female drivers are usually oblivious to the environment. Both types of poor drivers ended up irritating other road users.

For those who are distracted during driving (e.g. quoted was male driver looking at attractive girls) and ended up in an accident, my point is - they "deserve it". The only concern I have is that the distracted driver not only put his life in danger but also that of other road users.
Singapore drivers generally lack the defensive driving skills as well as the right mentality when they are behind the wheels.

On why men look at attractive women....well...all human beings admire beautiful stuff right? I look at handsome men, nice cars & furniture as much as pretty ladies... as long as men don't ogle at women in front of their partners, I think it's ok.

Men tend to have a sense of ego while on the road. The larger the car, the more powerful the engine, the bigger the ego. They tend to take more risks like speeding and overtaking and tailgating. That is why serious and fatal accidents tend to involve male drivers more than female drivers.

I would have thought otherwise. Women tend to be poorer drivers in general due to lack of sense of judgement, not daring enough at times (e.g. when you need to make a judgement to accelerate, hesitation etc. I do agree that guys tend to be more rash in general and sometimes do silly things beyond their control to boost that little ego.

But discounting all things linked to hotheadedness, I feel that guys tend to perform better when driving. An analogy would be.....perhaps driving in a race track or navigating through a course which involves technical skills. I just felt women have a slight disadvantage. Could be the genes.....like why women tend to be more observant where matters of the heart are concerned etc Note that I m just saying generally, I do concede there are some superb lady drivers out there but there are far fewer superb lady drivers than male drivers :icon52: Right guys? :icon10: Don't flame me.....:icon28:
